The various versions of the game have already made its presence on Android, iPhone, webOS, Intel Appup for Netbooks, B&N Nook and the Google Chrome web browser. Currently, Angry Birds number of downloads stand at a whooping 200 million, making it one of the worlds’ best and popular game. Angry Birds developer, Rovio, has already released other versions of the game such as Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons and it is also planning to popularize the brand in the form of a TV show and all types of Merchandise.
Angry Birds on Windows Phone 7 comes at a cost of $2.99 in the U.S, which is more expensive when compared to the Android and iPhone counterparts. It costs you 99 cents for the iPhone Angry Birds app while it costs you nothing on Android Platforms but comes with Advertising.
Windows Phone 7 was actually launched way back in the month of November, last year and it has significantly taken more time for the Angry Birds game to make its appearance on the platform. Microsoft, after placing an unapproved icon for the Angry Birds on the platform, said that, “The game would most likely appear on the Windows 7 Platform in the spring and it is a little late to make its presence felt, but late is better than never when you see a game that has so many hungry fans”.
