Finally and finally Google has come out with a new look for its Gmail user Interface. You might have noticed in the recent days that Google has taken initiatives and changed the design of the user interface of some of its most popular services in order to match up with its most awaited and exciting Google + Social network Service.
First, we saw changes in the interface of the Google Search page wherein a “+1” button was added against each search result displayed, then we saw the user Interface of Google Calendar getting a makeover in order to match up with its latest extravaganza, the Google + Social networking service.
What’s really is changed in the new User Interface
The new interface now looks much clearer and eye-pleasing with a full and full half-white background. The white background renders better legibility for reading the contents present inside E-mails. Gmail has done a good job by clearing out the footer area which earlier was dumped with some unnecessary links and the Options bar that includes Mail, Tasks and Contacts which is present above the Mailbox now looks better organized and eye-catching.
Coming to the other changes made in the User interface, the Compose Mail button has been given a red color highlighting, the Search mail button has been given a blue colored highlighting and like in the earlier design, you can give different colors to different labels that you have in your mail account. Overall, Google has done a good job by having its most popular E-mail Service’s User-interface renovated.
The new Interface is not yet available but you can see a preview of it under the Themes section in your Mail settings window. Under Themes, click on the theme that says Preview or click on the theme that says Preview (Desne). Both are similar but the Preview (Desne) theme will have your mail contents to be placed slightly closer.
So, what to do you think of the New Gmail User Interface and its color combinations. Give your opinions in the Comments section.
