It is most common that users who surf the web take a lot of print outs of the web pages they come across. Before taking a print out of something, it is common that you will see a print preview of how the final copy of the print out is going to appear.
You will observe Print Preview option in most of the Microsoft Office applications, but you might have not known that there is a print preview option in Google Chrome browser also. By default, it is disabled and it is placed pretty deep inside the about:flags page of the browser. The following section of the How-to guide will walk you through the procedure of how to enable the Print Preview option in Google Chrome web browser.
Type about:flags into the address bar of your chrome browser and press Enter.
NOTE: - making any changes in the about:flags page may affect your browser’s performance and you must be very cautious before making any changes to these settings.
In the about:flags page thus opened, scroll down a little bit to find the Print Preview entry and then click on the Enable link.
Restart your browser in order for the changes to take effect.
Once your browser restarts, navigate to the web page that you want to print and then click on the Wrench (Tools) icon and then click on Print from the drop down menu.
Once you click on the Print option, a print preview of the page that you are about to print will be displayed in a new tab on your web browser.
You can also select the orientation of the print out like Portrait and Landscape, background color, number of copies and the pages that you want to print.
Once you specify all the specifications, click on the Print button to get the print out of the web page you are looking for.
In case, if you wish to disable the feature, go to the about:flags page and then click on the Disable link of the Print Preview entry and restart your browser.
