How to prevent Web sites from resizing your browser window in Firefox

It could be very annoying to see when web sites you are visiting automatically resize your browser windows without your notice or without giving any indication such as a warning. To prevent web sites from resizing your browser windows, there is a feature on offer within the Firefox Options window which you can enable it. The following How-to guide will walk you through the steps on how to avoid resizing of Browser windows in Firefox.

1) Click on the Firefox Menu button that you see at the top left corner of your Firefox window and then click on Options from the Context menu displayed.

2) In the Options window thus opened, select the Content panel.

3) Under the Content panel, click on the Advanced button displayed in the top section.

4) In the Advanced Java Script Settings dialogue thus opened, remove the checkmark against the option that says Move or resize existing windows.

5)      Click on OK and again click on OK to exit from the Options window.
