Nokia today releases a new color variant to its existing colors of the N8 handset, the Pink variant. Thus far Nokia N8 was available in Blue, Green and Black colors but now with the Pink variant, the handset looks much more eye-catching than the rest of its other variants. The news was published in the official Nokia Blog.
It was said that the pink variant of the handset will still have the same features as that of the other variants starting with a 12 Mega pixels camera, HD video recording capability and as a totally Entertainment bound machine that we all like with only changes in the exteriors of the handset.
The Nokia N8 with the Pink color was voted as the color of the year for 2011 by Pantone and it said that Pink is the color to look out for in Gadgets this season.
Senior Designer at Nokia, Rachael Bell was quoted saying “Following the fantastic response to the range of colors we launched for the Nokia N8, it seemed a natural step to extend this choice. The Nokia N8 in pink complements the original line up well with its expressive, intense hue”.
The Pink variant will come out with the usual services as its previous variants such as free ovi maps for the purpose of navigation around the town and support for downloading ovi apps from the ovi store with the additional bunch of pink themes applications too. There is the Little Pink Diva theme that lets you add some color to the menu buttons, a Pink Neon clock that lets you always be updated with time and the ELLE app lets you to be updated with all the latest fashion and celebrity news.
