Google has collaborated with Samsung, its Nexus S manufacturer for building its first ever Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich phone, codenamed as Nexus Prime, according to reports from the mobile site Boy Genius Report.
According to BGR, the Nexus Prime’s screen will be branded as “Super AMOLED HD” which sounds similar to the already present Samsung’s Super AMOLED display and this info made the BGR confirm their suspicion that Samsung will indeed be the builders of the Google’s first ever Ice cream sandwich phone.
Nexus Prime, Google’s next Nexus Android phone, is expected to be a 4G enabled LTE Power beast. It has a 4.3 inch wide display screen that can support a resolution of 1280×768 pixels. Sources from the BGR believe that the Google’s Ice Cream sandwich phone will be released into the market as “Google Nexus Prime”.
BGR has also learned that Google will be crossing their trademark tradition by launching Tablets and Smartphones with Android 4.0 with various other manufacturers simultaneously around the time of Nexus Prime’s launch. This is unlike Nexus S, which was the only smartphone running the Android 2.3 OS, Gingerbread for the longest duration of time.
So, here is the most anticipated Android Phone all set to make its debut in the fall (if everything goes according to the plan) and it would heat up the competition that is already existing in the smartphone and Tablet market.
