Nokia has unveiled a new model of its Nokia 700 smartphone, which formerly was known by the name Zeta. The new Nokia 700 measuring at just 11cmx5cm is hailed as the World’s smallest smartphone by Nokia.
The New Nokia 700 comes shipped with the Symbian Belle operating system, the same operating system that finds its place in Nokia 600 and Nokia 701 which are announced along with the new Nokia 700 model. The new Nokia 700 is tagged at a price of 250USD whereas Nokia 600 and Nokia 700 are tagged at a price of 265USD and 429USD respectively. The new 700 model weighs just around 96 grams (3.5 ounces) and this might be the reason that Nokia is hailing this model as the most compact and smallest smartphone in the world.
The New Nokia 700 is powered by a 1 GHz processor, same as that of the Zeta model. It sports a 5 Mega Pixels Primary camera with flash support but there is no place for a secondary camera. The device comes incorporated with face recognition software and supports Bluetooth, GPRS, Mp3 and Micro SD cards.
At the Launch event Nokia said “The all new Nokia 700 is made with an extensive use of eco-friendly materials, posses long battery life and include power saving features”. To add flair to the device, it is made available in different color variants such as White, Purple, Peacock Blue and Coral Red.
New Nokia 700 price: $250 (Rs11,375)
